This author is a more recent favorite of mine.

When her head cleared, she wanted to haul in a huge gulp of air, but forced herself to take short, quiet breaths through her nose. Enjoyed reading TailSpin very much. FBI Thriller 1 – 10 of 23 books. I can say that if this had been the first Sherlock and Savich book I read, I would be disinclined to read any more. I love Sherlock and Savich and so it was awesome to have them be really involved in this book.

The character’s background is adequately explained. The only thing I really noticed about the heroine is that she had a super-awesome braid.

The real problem with this thriller is that it is less than thrilling. Try the Kindle edition and experience these great reading features: There’s not much romance, but there is non-stop action and if you haven’t read Dodd’s FBI series, you just don’t know what you’re missing!!


The book starts off with a splash when the main character is tossed into a lake in a murder attempt. The point of view jumps back and forth among the four leading characters, Savich, Sherlock, Jackson Crowne and Rachael Abbott and with conspiracy theories, political secrets, dysfunctional families and assassins on the loose, Catherine Coulter provides an excellent plot weaved with suspense, mystery and romance.

There’s no chemistry between the characters, none of the chemistry that is needed. But I feel very guilty about it!! She swam out from under the pier and saw the taillights of a car in the distance. They talk about Jack as an honourable man, one that’s rough and sexy but a true gentleman.
