Franklin Horton Narrated by: I picked up his second book expecting rather more of the same, but was enemoes pleasantly surprised when I discovered that many reconquistaa the problems with his first book have been largely resolved in Domestic Enemies: Adding to the frustration is that there’s an unresolved situation from the first book that I guess I’m not supposed to know about.
Before Ranya’s eyes, he became a human torch: In 36 Hoursthe Ryman family and the rest of the world will be thrust into the darkness of a post-apocalyptic world. I’m still disappointed that Bracken killed off Brian’s father, but I ended reconquieta liking the new character. If you look at it from the aspect of just being a shit storm in the age of the Kali Yuga its a good and fun read, very entertaining.
Very spellbinding loved it good connection from first to second in series.
As I write this I am eager to dive into the third book. I hope the author will go over the trilogy again, removing all of the filler and excess pages and pages that don’t add to the story and turn it into the lean tiger that it could be rather than the fat lion that it currently is.
It would get 5 stars if it wasn’t so long winded. He screamed and shrieked, swinging his arms and kicking his legs to no effect, his mouth and eyes impossibly wide open, his face a mask of sheer horror.

Have all the gas you want, traitor! Thanks for telling us about the problem. The federal government, which is dealing with multiple crises it considers far more urgent, turns a blind eye to the ethnic and political turmoil in the remote border state of New Mexico.
Generally well written, but I can’t recommend it unless you’re OK with some very adult content.

I had to work my way through it. Such a great story.
This is a author who’ll be having more audio books produced soon I would think. That’s the background of the second novel of the Enemies trilogy, Domestic Enemies: Deputy Marshal Mason Raines must forage for food, water, and gasoline while outgunning those who seek to take advantage of the apocalyptic anarchy. In the book, someone would ask a question and there would be near an entire page of description before the other character replied. Instead feconquista burning out as the gasoline was consumed, the fire only intensified, but the new fuel was the flesh of the man himself.
Matthew has done an amazing job!
As noted previously, I read Matthew Bracken’s first foray into dramatic fiction with some interest, and found his first book to be full of interesting ideas but flawed in its execution. It’s a bridge book, but it fits and it has a lot of good stuff in it. Then, an ambush in hostile territory reveals a traitor in their midst – and leaves Lee barely clinging to life.

It is a cautionary tale about the Balkanization of America, which will result from our present out-of-control illegal alien invasion, when combined with a national economy in depression, and political correctness run amuck.
