Overall, I’d recommend this book because it gets you thinking, but there were portions I was unsure of the author’s take. In it he shares compelling principles on how to live with hope and assurance that will carry us through to eternity.

John enjoys living in Colorado Springs with his wife, Lisa, also a best-selling author and speaker, and their four sons. I closed this book feeling as though I had just received the biggest pep talk and kick in the rear simultaneously. Millions ddiven have left the church, brokenhearted and cynical.

Indeed bevefe care needs to be taken here not to confuse the two natures of Christ and have the divine nature absorb the human nature of Christ even for a moment. God created us with eternity in our hearts because this life is merely a glimpse of what’s to come.

We were created with eternity in our hearts and we sense the immanent unknown extension of our existence. This book will wake you up. It was like reading through a transcript of one of the best sermons anyone will ever preach to you.

Finally, the allegory is simply spell binding. This book offers answers to why so many people – and the churches they attend – are unable to experience the divine strength that was evident among the first-century Christians.


So I wouldn’t So at one level I found this book incredibly inspiring. If you’re looking for a light, breezy read constantly patting you on the back and telling you what a great person you are in God’s eyes like a Joel Osteen bookthis ain’t it.

Explore the vision of a man who saw the glory of God and spoke with burning lips, for true prophetic ministry flows from this vision until it grows into a burden. John Bevere uses very tough love in this book to wake you up to the seriousness of how we spend our days in this life, and what the consequences are, good or bad, for how we spend it. I only give it 4 starts however because sometimes, Mr. Most Christians know their response to the cross determines where they will spend eternity.

I thank God for His revelation knowledge, freedom and insight this book has ministered to me. Both of these are essential. You alone hold that power. There is an allegory done as a drama in the audio version that is riveting and life-changing. But every word was written with love and is for the betterment of everyone who reads it. When we choose a mindset that extends our abilities rather than placing limits on ourselves, we will experience greater intellectual satisfaction, emotional control, and physical health.

Allegories are usually used to help shed light on a subject from a new angle, while his extensive allegory which is the focus of this book approached the subject of eternity and judgement from an angle very familiar to most evangelicals.
