I picked up this book at a local library book giveaway. Some really important concepts: Luskin worked with from Northern Ireland who had lost family members to political violence. The book is filled with anecdotes, especially the first half. I read the book quickly, as the subject matter was important to me.
The bottom line is if you want to feel better, you need to forgive even the smallest slight. The only way I would have improved this book was in its format. This book will help you move on! This book was recommended to me by my therapist and I think it is just excellent. But when I hope they will treat me kindly, I put the emphasis on my response which I can control not on their actions which I can’t control.
Everyone tells you to “move on”, but you have no idea why you can’t “let go”. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. It gaved important, unread before advice on how to basically stop wasting your life on the past mistakes or the people that hurt you and just forgive them because that will ease your feelings about it and it will also transform your uncertain life into a positive one.
